OKAY…I’m gonna be so real here 👇🏼 I see other creators on here, especially hiking ones, and I feel so insecure…😣 I compare myself all the time, saying: - Why don’t I look cool like them? - Will the only way I’ll gain their respect is through ‘fit checks’, ‘hiking fits’ posts, wearing cool sunglasses and expensive jackets? - I wear the exact same pants/tops/shoes hiking every single time, I feel like they’re not ‘gorpcore’ enough to be seen as fashionable in the hiking sphere… And then I realise…that’s just not me. I think we all try to be other people, and I think too often we compare ourselves to others online 😔 But what I love about myself isn’t what outfit I’m wearing, it’s what absolutely crazy and challenging mountain I’m climbing… And I’m trying to remember that in everything I post, that being authentically me is what people love. People I’m a silly but strong girl, who gets her hands dirty and battles trails that many people are afraid of. Thanks for listening to...
