Jacob: I wish more people knew is when their low tire light is on, it just needs more air I hear it all the time: "I just put more air in it, but the light is on again." Here's what I tell them: 1. Temperature can affect PSI changes, especially here in CO where we have 40-50 degree changes in a day. Also, altitude. 2. Altitude can affect PSI changes again, especially being in CO. You can go 5-10 miles in a direction that be a 1000-1500ft in elevation change. Lastly... 3. Even just being 5 PSI low can make the light turn on. So, check your tires when they're cold (they get hot when driving), and often, to avoid the light coming back on.
