I mean, the money is nice and all…but I kinda miss it 😅 Up until 4am waiting for renders on my terrible laptop, using a second hand camera where quality didn’t matter, getting 10 views, more than half from my mum & dad. Making films that were awful, but I enjoyed making. Always nice now to make content people watch…but I do miss the simple days. No client but myself and my imagination, just doing whatever for the fun of it. Not having to deal with someone telling me to make the logo bigger, or adding a front board, or sucking all the life out of what is a fun job… Tradeoffs, I guess - and I do work for some very cool clients and people… but can’t help but look back 😅
