The US House of Representative has passed the 2026 defense policy bill, which authorizes over $900 billion in military programs, the biggest bill to date.
The result of several weeks of negotiations between the two parties, the text was adopted in the House of Representatives with 312 votes for and only 112 against.
It entails key support for Europe, NATO and Ukraine, including troop number guarantees.
The bill will now go to the Senate, which is expected to approve it before the end of the year.
