China’s giant drone carrier Jiu Tian has completed its maiden flight in northwest China’s Shaanxi. The aircraft has a maximum takeoff weight of 16 tons, with the payload capacity of up to 6,000 kilograms. It is able to fly for 12 hours.⁣ ⁣ The drone is able to transport heavy supplies to remote mountainous areas with high precision, which will be helpful in disaster response efforts, geographic mapping, disaster assessment and mineral exploration. ⁣ ⁣ #ChinaTech #drone
