The Eau Claire lagoon is open for ice skating 🎉 Also there's a bunch of Christmasy lights beside it. • The *entire* canal is open for skating this year, not just the ice down towards the lagoon / east end. From Jaipur Bridge to the Peace Bridge. • There is a public washroom on Prince's Island, under River Cafe. • Taking the train? Get off at 1st or 4th street station and walk north towards the river, pretty hard to miss. Put "Eau Claire Plaza" in Google Maps. • There are fire pits • Use at your own risk, no staff on site • You will be able to rent ice skates but the rental shack is not open yet.
