The greatest of all time. The never seen 17. The last real champion. John Cena.
I’ve been watching John Cena since I was three years old. Immediately he became my favorite. The man was the embodiment of winning. He wasn’t just my favorite wrestler, he was the face of my childhood. I remember seeing him live for my birthday one year, always wearing his shirts and wristbands, and believing every word he said thinking he was just the coolest guy ever. I bought the shirts, watched the matches over and over, and even have the three disc “My Life” documentary set that I still own to this day . I still will go back sometimes to watch his Judgement Day I Quit match against JBL or his Unforgiven TLC match with Edge. John Cena helped shape the way I saw perseverance, confidence, and showing up when it matters. I’m grateful for all the memories he gave, the lessons, and the inspiration. And I still hope one day I get the chance to thank him in person and meet the hero I grew up watching.
