Doin’ It for Dave | December 11 2025 | tipitinas What a night. This whole last six weeks has been a whirlwind, but last night was wonderful. It was like a family reunion and it’s fascinating to think it was all for Pops. I don’t think I have the words and I definitely have processed all the emotions, but here are some photos. I’ve got a few more photos coming soon. There are great moments from last night. Someone hadn’t seen me since I was breastfeeding, evidently on a porch swing. Close family friends thought I was 24 (I’m 28 lol). One guy tapped me on the shoulder while I was photographing to make sure I got some pictures of George Porter Jr, and all I did was smile. It was like a Saints game, a music concert, a family reunion, and a party all wrapped into one. It was nothing if not celebratory. So, kudos to you Dad.
