An Old Fashioned is my go-to choice of cocktail. Today I used my buffalotrace barrel pick from buffalotracedistillery. In this recipe we are using a brown sugar based simple syrup but we also have a recipe using a pecan simple syrup or you can muddle a sugar cube instead. Ingredients: 2 oz bourbon 2 dashes of Angostura bitters 2 dashes of black walnut bitters 1/2 ounce simple syrup Garnish 1 orange peel luxardo cherry� Instructions: Pour the bourbon, simple syrup and and bitters in an iced mixing glass. Stir with a bar spoon to combine. Pour over a clear ice cube, I used my craftklaris Ice maker. Add in a luxardo cherry for garnish.
