We get a lot of questions from viewers about making a print using two colors of ink. When it comes to letterpress printing with our presses, one ink color can be used per impression. In this video, Jared demonstrates making a two color print using a 3x5 Kelsey Excelsior tabletop printing press. The two electrotypes used for this print were made 90-100 years ago and would be used for printing Christmas greeting cards. This was printed using Van Son Tough Tex metallic gold ink and rhodamine red rubber base ink.
