A Howard University nursing scholar and faculty member, is helping lead a national effort to address health inequities beyond the hospital setting. Dr. Priscilla Okunji, a nationally recognized researcher in Howard’s College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, is participating in a new multi-year program training researchers to study how living conditions impact health outcomes. 📍The collaboration includes Villanova, Johns Hopkins, and Howard University, the nation’s only HBCU classified as an R1 research institution.
