UPDATE: Georgia HC, Kirby Smart, addressed the media earlier today and provided an update on UGA true freshmen, starting right guard Dontrell Glover and backup running back Bo Walker, following their recent arrests.
Smart didn’t confirm if Glover and/or Walker would be playing in the team’s upcoming Sugar Bowl playoff game against Ole Miss, but indicated that he is deeply disappointed with their decisions and is currently disciplining them.
“Yeah, both those guys were disappointed in their decision-making, and we always say decision-making is a skill, and they made poor decisions. They paid a consequence for that, and they’re continuing to pay a consequence for that, and they’ll finish up their consequences for that. So, I hope both of them make better decisions in the future,” Smart stated.
Glover and Walker were booked into the Athens-Clarke County jail on December 12th at around 5:30 pm and were released at around 7 pm after posting a $1,526 bond each.
