Nicknamed the “Night Train,” this 1963 @Chevrolet Corvette Custom Split-Window Coupe was designed and built by John Shope Designs. The body of a 60,000-original-mile Corvette Split-Window was lifted from its chassis and transformed with a handcrafted widebody kit, fully bodyworked inside and out, then painted and cut and buffed to perfection in a custom PPG Candy Blue finish. Flush-mounted glass and a custom hood were designed to house a @TexasSpeedPerformance-built LT4 powerplant producing over 640hp. Power is delivered through GM’s 8-speed automatic transmission to a @RoadsterShop chassis, with every component powder-coated in Burnt Silver and paired with @BremboTube brakes, power steering and power disc brakes for modern drivability.
