A Christmas-themed drag show sold out despite calls for it to be banned by Florida's Attorney General. In November, James Uthmeier, Florida’s Attorney General, demanded that the city of Pensacola cancel the 18+ Christmas drag show because he claimed it featured “demonic” and “s3xually explicit” elements, making it harmful for children — despite the show explicitly being for adults only. Uthmeier argued that the city should not “platform obscenities that denigrate its residents and expose kids to harmful content. The organisers of the event, Murray & Peter Present, posted a video of the queens featured in the show to announce it had sold out.
