The habits that made me the best version of myself this year (and I’m not leaving them behind)!!
1. morning movement
podcast walks, easy workouts, or a short run, no matter wha it looked like, starting my day with some movement changed my energy more than anything else!! it’s not necessarily about intensity, it’s about showing up for myself before the day gets going.
2. 30g+ protein at breakfast
this one I’ve prioritized for years!! I’ve found that this really helps me have more stabile energy & when I start the day with protein I reach for “better” food throughout the day. (Better being cleaner, higher protein, more nutritious not lower calorie or like restricting myself)
3. strength training as my foundation
lifting weights made me feel so much stronger and more confident moving in my body. I’ve noticed stronger runs, fewer injuries , and honestly, better mental resilience too.
4. protecting my sleep
going to bed earlier fixed things i used to think i needed to “work harder” at. ...
