A new restaurant is set to open that serves up fresh local ingredients in an Italian feast inspired by Pope Leo XIV’s Chicago roots. The culinary destination will be housed at Borgo Laudato Si’, a new sustainable center and ecological program being developed in the once once-secluded Vatican Gardens in the town of Castel Gandolfo, near the historic Papal Summer Palace.
