There would be a public uproar and whoever killed them would immediately get the death penalty, but because it’s an animal, it’s “normal” and “just food”. Everyone loves puppies - Imagine killing a puppy for food. How would you feel? If that thought makes you upset or angry, I encourage you to sit with that feeling and really try to think of *why* you feel that way about puppies but not other animals.
