I took this photo ten years ago this week in Meridian. It was an old farmhouse on McMillan near 10 Mile, one of those places that reminded us of the history of our home. It was so quiet that day. I trudged out into the fresh snow to capture just how far our valley reached. There are storage units there now.
I’ve been taking a little break from posting. The nonstop wave of growth can feel like a lot sometimes, even though I know it is part of the American Dream and a big piece of what I share here. I think many of us feel this tension between change and nostalgia. I am giving myself space to reconnect with what makes this place special, and to find a rhythm that feels right moving forward.
Thanks for being here while I take a breath.
Sharing a couple other winter moments. Still holding out hope for snow. ❄️
What old Idaho memory do you miss?
