Last week I had the amazing opportunity to volunteer Coach at @sstgh_ @sstnj a 3 day camp Spending time on the pitch with these kids reminded me that football is more than drills, tactics, or results. It starts with the fundamentals - patience, repetition, confidence, and belief. Watching them learn the basics, struggle, improve, and smile through it all taught me just as much as it taught them. Training kids requires more than knowledge of the game; it demands empathy, clarity, and the ability to meet them where they are. This camp stretched me, humbled me, and reshaped how I see development and taught me what it truly takes to train young players. I’m leaving this experience with a deeper respect for the process and a stronger foundation for everything I want to build going forward. ⚽️💪🏽
