Alinejad says protesters are “angry and furious” over the regime’s “mismanagement and corruption,” accusing it of sending money “to Hamas, Hezbollah for regional wars.” “The same regime that’s creating 51 religious institutions right now, claiming that they are suffering from sanctions, but at the same time, they’re funding their proxies, they’re funding religious institutions, to oppress people,” Alinejad tells CBS News.
