NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said on Monday that he doubts Raiders HC Pete Carroll will be around to help the Raiders potentially make the No. 1 pick in this year’s NFL draft.
“Looks like the Raiders will be making the No. 1 overall pick, so they’re gonna be on the clock next Sunday,” Rapoport said in a social media post. “This can change an organization. It took a lot to get here. We’ll see if Pete Carroll’s there for it, I doubt it, but we’ll see.”
The Raiders hired the 74-year-old Coach last offseason, and his first year has been a rough showing in Las Vegas. The Raiders currently stand at (2-14) heading into Sunday’s season finale against the Kansas City Chiefs.
It also guarantees the Las Vegas Raiders the
#1 OVR pick in The 2026 NFL Draft with a loss.
Thoughts? Should Pete Carroll be shown the door when the season expires?
