Just like you probably wouldn’t respect me if I thought it was okay to rape, kill, or enslave humans. To me, it doesn’t matter. It’s wrong to exploit/kill all living beings, no matter the species. So no, I will not respect you if you think it’s okay to kill/torture *any* animal.
