A lot of the halal birria I’ve had tastes very similar to each other, but Pancho Birria (panchobirrianyc) does something different with the seasonings which results in a slightly distinctive flavor profile that I enjoyed. The consommé is also very rich and flavorful! 😋 The birria taco is sized much bigger than other spots and super loaded with your choice of meat (chicken or beef) for $4 or $4.50 (for quesabirria). And you can choose between flour or corn tortilla! If you come to the store, you might see the Shin Ramen, but they told me they don’t use the flavor packets that come with it. They only use the ramen noodles for their birria ramen. All the meat is halal. Method of cut is unverified but the establishment has a halal registration filed under NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets.
