Team shells or macaroni?! SAVE recipe 👇🏼
We’re big cheesy mac lovers over here 🙂↔️ and while yess I love adding nutrition where I can, I also want you to know that a plain box of mac still provides nutrition!!
the easiest *boosted* mac & cheese🧀
8 oz chickpea pasta
2-2 1/2 c bone broth (ideally unsalted or low sodium)
1/2 c milk (or more per consistency preference)
1 c shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1-2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
optional: 1/4 c pumpkin puree, plain Greek yogurt, peas, cauliflower rice, or green beans
>> boil broth & cook noodles (don’t drain!), then stir in the remaining ingredients until cheese is melted
V thankful I’ve prioritized variety so my toddler hasn’t gotten hooked on ONE specific type of cheesy mac. Which can look like changing the shape, color, texture, or flavor without turning it into a whole new food
