Tahirys Dos Santos, a 19-year-old Metz defender who has been hailed as a hero after the deadly Crans-Montana fire, was honored by the Metz first team before their Ligue 1 game on Sunday. Dos Santos went back into the fire to rescue his girlfriend, the player's agent told France's BFMTV. He suffered burns to 30% of his body and both remain in hospital, with Dos Santos transferred from Switzerland to a specialist burns unit in Stuttgart, Germany. At least 40 people were killed in the blaze.
