📋 The fields for the 2026 Houston Half Marathon on Sunday, Jan. 11th have been announced. The field boasts six of the top 15 fastest American men in history. Some notable entries on the men’s side: – Vincent Ngetich, who boasts a 2:03:13 marathon PB from his runner-up finish at the 2023 Berlin Marathon, is the fastest man on paper with his 59:09 PB from 2022. – Conner Mantz is not back after breaking the American record there last year. In fact, none of the top 5 men from last year’s race are back. – bor.hillary, who ran 1:00:20 for 6th place last year, is the top returner. He ran 59:55 at the NYC Half, which is not record-eligible. – Galen Rupp is back. His PB of 59:47 is from 2018. His last time out in Houston was 2024 when he ran 1:02:37 for 12th place. – For those, who were holding out the slightest bit of hope for Grant Fisher to run Houston.
