I wouldn’t chase one big job.
I’d go after speed, volume, and people who already trust me.
Day 1: I’d reach out to past clients and warm contacts first.
Parents, teams, orgs, anyone who’s already paid or inquired before. Selling to strangers takes time — selling to warm leads doesn’t.
Day 2: I’d book multiple small shoots instead of one perfect one.
Mini sessions, games, portraits, quick turnarounds. Five $100 jobs is easier than one $500 ask.
Day 3: I’d deliver fast and upsell quietly.
Extra images. Simple add-ons. Prints. Bundles. The money stacks when the base work is already done.
The goal wouldn’t be to build a brand.
It would be to move cash efficiently.
Most photographers don’t struggle because there’s no money.
They struggle because they overcomplicate the process.
