Introducing our 2022 Yardrunners, otherwise known as the student leaders and alumni who continue to build upon a legacy of Black excellence at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. What legacy means to them is completely unique, as it was to the generation before and will be for the GOATs of tomorrow. Nike #Yardrunners was created in 2020 to celebrate the rich heritage, history, and contributions of HBCUs and their alumni on global sport and culture. Founded by Nike HBCU alumni, each year the initiative serves as an opportunity for teams at Nike to partner with HBCU trailblazers to create inspirational storytelling and philanthropy with and for the community.
