One of my favorite cocktails is our hibiscus gin sour. It has the perfect balance of sweet and tartness and a smooth finish. You can find dried hibiscus flowers at most grocery stores or online to make the simple syrup. I also use them to make pretty pink ice cubes!
Hibiscus Gin Sour
1 egg white
3 ounces gin
3/4 ounce fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/2 ounce hibiscus simple syrup (recipe on sugar and charm)
1 teaspoon Chambord
Add the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 20 seconds. Strain over a pink hibiscus ice cube.
Notes: Use an egg substitute or leave it out if you don’t want to consume raw egg. You can also make this with vodka.
