Our hybrid lower elementary students learned all about erosion this week. We discussed four different agents of erosion: wind, water, ice and gravity. The students used dirt and pebbles to create mountains and hills, and used a rain cup to watch erosion take place. We hypothesized what would happen if we created a dam out of popsicle sticks and noticed that less erosion took place. We also discussed all the erosion that took place after our heavy rains!
