One of the quickest ways to burn a bridge in this industry is to not have an up to date calendar and give away dates that you held for other clients. Treat your HOLDS like jobs and mark them in your calendar. If another agent reaches out to you for an AVAIL check, you should know what dates are HOLDS and which are BOOKED. You can let your agents know which dates are on HOLD and which are wide open or not available at all. HOLDS are super important because you need to not give the dates away, but they’re also not promises that you’ll be booked.
