Macarons made from failed macaron shells:
-10 tbsp unsalted butter (141 grams)
-1 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (160 grams)
-1 cup granulated sugar (200 grams)
-3 large eggs room temperature
-2/3 cup macaron flour (66 grams)
-3 tbsp cocoa powder
-2 tsp vanilla extract
-1/4 tsp salt
-1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (80 grams)
Melt the butter and chocolate together, add sugar and eggs one at a time. Add the powdered macaron shells, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt and mix. Add the chocolate chips and mix. Pour on a greased 8x8 or 9x9 and bake at 350 for about 25 to 30 minutes.
