What an absolute wild 36 hours. GPT-4 is the birth of something special. The things people have been able to do with it are pretty extraordinary — and thinking where we could be just a few years from now — let alone decades… is fascinating. I’ve never seen an emerging tech category progress this dramatically. It’s also at times unsettling — the fact that some of the leading AI researchers on the planet (Karpathy, Carmack, Altman, Ng, etc) all think that AGI is happening much, much sooner than widely suspected.
