What does it mean to be a Mother Runner? The definition can differ greatly for every mom. For melissarunstrails, it's meant finding solace in running while being a foster mother, a stepmother, and now, a soon-to-be biological mother, and becoming a role model they can all look up to. "At the end of the day, you’re an example for your kids," Melissa said. "For them to see you work your butt off for a race, and suffer through it. I hope that carries over to the kids that it pays off to work really hard."
