BEHIND THE SCENES: FALL 2020 "Opening the Closet Doors"  Coming out is a process of accepting and valuing your sexual orientation. Although coming out can be difficult, it can be a very liberating and freeing process. This is a very personal process in which everyone’s process is unique to their situation. Some choose to come out in person, while others would rather share online. Concealing your sexuality is an extremely challenging burden. The term, ‘coming out’ has garnered a negative connotation, when in reality, coming out is about the journey of accepting and celebrating your true identity. It is about breaking down barriers one by one. You don't have to make this journey alone-- seek help from friends and loved ones and make new friends along the way.
