And they’re off! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ At 4am today, hellabaerunning set off from the Santa Monica Pier to commence thespeedproject - a 340-mile relay race from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. They’re joined by nearly 70 teams from over a dozen countries, all crafting their own paths and strategies, with one goal in common: to get to the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign first. As of 2:30pm, the ladies are about 75 miles into the race, with team leader itsjessde currently running her leg. Hella Bae Running, based out of the Bay Area, are heading out of the city limits towards the Mojave desert, where the largest portion of the race occurs. Their goal is to complete the journey in under 48 hours, and better their time from last year.
