Pinakbet Tagalog (Filipino Succotash) seared halibut / crab fat / coconut squash purée / adlai rice / sitaw / okra / cilantro oil This dish, inspired by succotash, is veggie forward consisting primarily of corn, beans, and lots of nightshades. It combines grains with legumes for a high protein, nutritious meal. This version featured a beautiful halibut sourced locally by our purveyor northwestbounty with a hint of Filipino flair. 🍚 adlai rice (add-lye): tall grain-bearing perennial tropical plant of the family Poaceae. It is native to Southeast Asia. It is a great source of energy, complex carbohydrates, protein, dietary fiber, and minerals.
