I would never get tired of popovers. We really love them in our family. Because a few of you have asked me how I make it here is a new video. I made half with blueberries to test, and I personally loved them so much. Here is the basic recipe.
.
.
For 6 popovers using a popover pan. (Use muffin pan instead)
3 large eggs room temperature
1 cup all purpose flour
1 1/4 cup of milk
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp melted butter
Butter or oil for the pan
.
.
Preheat the oven at 400F degrees.
Put the pan in the oven to get heated.
In a bowl start by cracking your eggs and whisk vigorously for a few minutes.
Slowly incorporate flour and continue to whisk.
Incorporate milk and will end up with a very thin batter.
Add salt and melted butter.
Remove pan from the oven and grease with butter. If you use oil you can add it before you put the pan in the oven.
Pour batter on each spot and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown puffy.
Enjoy!
