We believe that kinship with land and plants is part of the holistic picture of healing, connection, and wholeness, and everyone should have access to these. This season, we are delighted to be in solidarity with two community efforts: Freedom Garden at upwestfreedom and the garden at the cctcharlotte Center For Women work release prison. You can read about each garden below. Thyme to Heal aims to support both of these garden efforts by helping to supply soil, seedlings, seeds, supplies to repair raised beds, and gardening equipment. At each site, community leaders direct the efforts of the garden. Kinship Plot is delighted to support by sharing resources, networks, and the mutual giving and receiving of garden wisdom and knowledge.
