This is what filming a Division I basketball intro actually looks like 🎥🏀
This intro turns into a moving tunnel.
As the guys come off the bench and form the handshake line, I’m flowing in and out with them the entire time.
When a player steps out, I’m walking backwards, keeping them centered as they slap hands through the tunnel. I stay with them all the way to that final handshake at the end.
The moment that’s done, I turn and move back inside the tunnel, resetting my framing so I’m ready for the next guy coming out — all in one continuous rhythm.
The biggest focus is keeping everything smooth and controlled:
• steady pace
• level horizon
• clean framing
• no rushed movements
It’s not about flashy gimbal moves — it’s about reading the flow, committing to the motion, and letting the intro breathe.
The venuslaowa 10mm on the dji_ronin RS3 is my go to setup for filming intros.
If you shoot sports, save this for your next game.
