Today I got to make my childhood dream come true by being part of the New York Islanders organization. It wasn’t by playing hockey like I imagined when I was younger, but by doing something I love and am passionate about — sports media. Getting the chance to work for the Bridgeport Islanders and be around the team meant a lot to me. Thank you to Devon and Jackson for taking me under their wing tonight and helping me out. I really appreciate it. I’ll be posting pictures from the night in the next few days once I get the okay from Bridgeport since they will be posting them first.
