The attacker disappears behind the cage for a split second, so it’s all about reading body positioning and anticipating when they’ll wrap around the crease. From the sideline, I keep my frame slightly wider so I can see both the near pipe and the attacker’s hands. That makes it easier to follow the release point and stay locked through the dive without losing the goal in frame.
