Your getting ready space is one of the most important decisions you can make on your wedding day. It can make or break how your wedding photos look and set the tone for your wedding gallery. Here is what I recommend when picking a getting ready space for your wedding:â

1) Natural Light. Are there windows with generous natural light? This will create the best, evenly lit area for your getting ready photos.â

2) Space. Picture this: 12 girls and 2 hair and makeup artists in one tiny hotel room. (Spoiler, there wonât be ANY room for photos). This happens more often than youâd think! If youâre getting ready at a hotel, I recommend one of two things. Option one is to get a large suite. If that is not an option, I recommend getting two hotel rooms: one for the mess (breakfast, hair and makeup), and one for photos (wedding dress can hang in here, and the photographer can set up for photos in here too!)â
