In my opinion, it’s the hardest angle to shoot from in lacrosse. You’re behind the cage, filming the front side of the attackers — which sounds great in theory, but it makes everything harder. It’s tough to anticipate the release. Depth perception of the goal changes from that angle. Shooting lanes disappear behind defenders. And you always have to be ready for a missed shot coming straight at you. You’re not reacting — you’re predicting. But when you nail it, the payoff is unreal.
