Mom’s Banana Cake
• 2 ¼ cups flour
• 1 ¼ cups sugar
• ½ cup butter (softened)
• 3 eggs
• ¼ tsp baking soda + nutmeg + cinnamon
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 ½ cups mashed banana (4-5 bananas)
Directions:
Cream sugar + butter. Add eggs + vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients separately, then alternate adding dry mixture. Add bananas, mix.
Grease + flour a 9x13 pan.
Bake at 350° until golden and set (about 30–35 mins).
Cool completely before frosting.
Frosting:
1 block cream cheese + splash of vanilla + about ½ bag powdered sugar. Whip until smooth and spread thick.
