Fourteen years ago today, the world lost Marie Colvin, one of the bravest war correspondents of her generation. On February 22, 2012, Colvin was killed in Homs while reporting on the siege and the indiscriminate shelling of civilian neighborhoods. She had entered the city to document what others could not see, determined to bear witness to the human cost of war. Today, we remember her courage, her clarity of purpose, and her refusal to look away.
