Big news in the local pickleball world: the popular sport sweeping the nation is set to get a sparkling new facility in Pinellas Park. The Pickleball Club announced today that its next expansion will include a massive facility in the Gateway Centre Business Park. Located just off Gandy and US HWY 19, The Pickleball Club is under contract on an 8.07-acre parcel for $1.75 million. Sprawling 40,000 square feet, the climate-controlled facility will offer members 16 indoor pickleball courts, as well as an outside activity area. Additional amenities include a players’ lounge mezzanine, Dink’s Pro Shop, and Pickle’s Café, a casual restaurant concept similar to their other facilities. Owners say the club is expected to open in early 2025.
