Coach James had a feeling that Conner didn’t quite grasp a few words used within the session, hence the ‘check in’ in this clip. It’s extremely hard for any 9 old to speak up when they don’t understand something, especially in a 1:1 session. But, hopefully a lesson is learned from both people within this interaction… For James, reflecting on word choice to aid understanding.
