More than seven years ago, a young Syrian refugee from Idlib, then a medical student, now a doctor, reached out to SETF with a tip about a former Syrian intelligence official living in the United States. SETF tracked him down, verified his identity, and immediately brought the case to the Department of Justice and U.S. federal investigators. That man was Samir Othman al-Sheikh, former director of Adra Central Prison, and he has since been convicted of torture and crimes against humanity. SETF's @soccermouaz speak with @tayf.fm on the case.
