During International Women's month, we honor Hind Kabawat, a tireless advocate who spent 14 years fighting for the fall of the Assad regime and the freedom of the Syrian people. From refugee camps to the halls of Congress, she never stopped working for a better Syria. Today, we are proud to see her serve as Syria's Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, the only female minister in the transitional government, building the free Syria she has always fought for.
